Best Western To Go

A universal iPhone and iPad app for Best Western that unifies the guest experience across 4,100 franchise hotels worldwide, with geo-search, one-tap booking, rewards and support for five languages.

Best Western To Go, a Hospitality project by Putti

Putti built Best Western To Go, a universal iPhone and iPad app that gives guests one consistent booking experience across all 4,100 Best Western hotels worldwide. Guests search nearby hotels, book in a single tap, earn rewards and share their trip, no matter which franchise property they choose.

What was the challenge?

Best Western needed a franchise-friendly solution that delivered one unified customer experience across every property. The brief was to let guests make reservations for any of its 4,100 hotels, track trip details and share plans, all from a single app that included geo-search and in-app rewards.

How did Putti handle a franchise at scale?

Best Western is one of the largest hotel chains in the world and runs on a franchise model, so Putti mapped out multiple guest journeys before building. The app's architecture was critical: it had to stay simple and elegant for guests while holding together a vast library of individual properties.

The outcome

Putti delivered a universal iPhone and iPad app that lets guests around the world find and book Best Western hotels at any time. Guests can search the hotel database from their current location, book a reservation in a single tap while earning rewards points, and share plans with friends and family before they travel. The app supports English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
