The Bonodleys, who typically embarked on sailing escapades together, took on a new challenge as participants in the 2023 Pork Pie Charity Run. They drove a MINI over 2500km from Paihia to Invercargill in just six days, marking their first time participating in the event.
Nathan and Matt, known for their madcap sailing adventures, joined forces to tackle the open road in the Pork Pie Run. While typically found on the high seas, they were eager to test their skills behind the wheel and make a positive impact on the KidsCan charity along the way.
Since February, we’ve been drumming up support for The Bonodleys on their quest to conquer The Pork Pie Charity Run. You may have caught a glimpse of our social media channels sharing their shenanigans along the way.
You won’t believe what The Bonodleys just pulled off in the world of fundraising. They started with a humble $17,370 in February, but with your support, they hit the top spot with a whopping $46,585 raised! They crushed the competition and came out on top, all while making a real difference in the lives of those in need. Talk about being absolute legends, right?
It just goes to show what can happen when you put your mind to something and refuse to back down. The Bonodleys prove that anything is possible, and we’re stoked to have been a part of their journey to the top. So here’s to The Bonodleys and their incredible achievement.
